The percentages of knowledge that we get went get a lecture only 5% . That's meant we must do more to get the knowledge . Teaching others will make us understand the most because we must explain it to others. Its the best way to understand. Lets practise to do that way in learning because more we share, more we get. Students need to understand how information is learned and to understand the needs of using various kinds of active learning strategies in learning, retaining, and using the information (encoding, storage, and retrieval) and hence, indicates how one learns, remembers, and forgets. According to Kenneth Higbee, “remembering is hard work, and memory techniques do not necessarily make it easy, they just make it more effective” (Van Blerkom, 2009, p. 93).

Reading Text

READING /STUDY SYSTEM (SQ3R/) 💖 💫💫CREATE AWARENES 💫💫 Reading academic materials are different from general reading tasks (story books, newspaper). Using a study system can help in comprehending reading academic materials due to three factors: 1. active learning strategies 2. use of multisensory methods (eyes, ears, mouth, hands – refer to the learning pyramid) 3. immediate steps for self-testing and review Ref: https://www.slideshare.net/gskeesee/active-reading-sq3r 💝 SQ3R: SURVEY-QUESTION-READ-RECITE-REVIEW 💝 SQ3R is a comprehension strategy that facilitates students think about the text they are reading while they are reading. As a study strategy, SQ3R helps students “get it” the first time they read a text by teaching students how to read and think like an effective reader. 👉This strategy includes the following five steps (Robinson, 1946 in Adolescence Literacy): 🌹1. Survey : Students review the text to gain initial meaning from the title, subtitle, cha...

Prioritize To Do List

THIS IS WORKSHEET THAT I GOT DURING UED LESSON *IGNORE MY WRITTING ;) We can organized our task based on their level or importanceee .➹ In this worksheet, we can manage our activities or duties following the importance of that thing.

Organizational Strategies

For organising, we also need a strategies of course ! Let' talk about it. Organizing homework A good assignment book is essential for completing homework successfully. While some students buy three- by five-inch spiral pads for recording assignments, the pages are too small, the lines are too thin, and there are not visual dividers to separate assignments. A good assignment book is eight and a half by eleven inches, with three holes for inserting it into the working notebook, neatly divided sections, and plenty of room on each page. To help your child organize homework, you can create a homework checklist with the following items for each subject: _____I have the materials I need to do the assignment (book, notes, handouts). _____I completed the assignment. _____I checked the assignment to be sure it was correct. _____There was no homework in this subject tonight. By making multiple copies of the checklist, your child can use one for each subject each night – indepen...

Memory Strategies

In this posting, I will explain about how to use our memory wisely and sharpen it . But first, I will told u guys what is memory. like always , we must give the explanation first before giving the statements. Let's start ! .. .. Memory is the faculty of the mind by which information is encoded, stored, and retrieved. Memory is vital to experiences and related to limbic systems , it is the retention of information over time for the purpose of influencing future action. If we could not remember past events, we could not learn or develop language, relationships, nor personal identity. Often memory is understood as an informational processing system with explicit and implicit functioning that is made up of a sensory processor, short-term (or working ) memory, and long-term memory (Baddely, 2007). The sensory processor allows information from the outside world to be sensed in the form of chemical and physical stimuli and attended to with various levels of focus and inten...

JOB TASK ANALYSIS What is job analysis ? First of all, before I'm starting to show the job example of job task analysis . Let's me explain first what is job analysis. The Goals Statements

THE GOAL STATEMENTS - FIVE STEPS TO APPROACH 1.Goals Should Be Self-Chosen Goals that are set by your parents, teachers , or friends may not always work for you. You need to determine or choose your own goals; You need to decide what you wan t to accomplish, if you set your own goals you will be more motivated to achieve them. 2.Goals Should Be Moderately Challenging One way to set moderately challenging goal is to consider what you have done in past. Goals can always be revised, if you discover you can achieve more than you originally set out to accomplish. 3.Goals should be realistic. Think about whether your goals are attainable. Ex: it would be unrealistic to expect to get a B or better in Calculus if your math background is very weak and your high school grades in math were never higher than a C. To set realistic goals, you must carefully evaluate your chances of achieving each goals. 4.Goals Should Be Measurable A goal...

Learning Style Inventory

WHAT IS LEARNING STYLE INVENTORY ? Learning style inventories are designed to help respondents determine which learning style they have. These inventories typically take the form of a questionnaire that focuses on how people prefer to learn. Respondents choose the answers that most closely resemble their own preferences. How Are Learning Style Inventories Used? Learning style inventories are based upon the idea that people have different strengths and preferences when it comes to learning. Many theories exist suggesting that people can be classified based upon their predominant learning 'style.' Most of these ideas propose that all people learn differently and that designing instruction based upon these learning styles can enhance the educational process. This notion that people possess different learning styles first became a popular concept during the 1970s. Since then, learning style theories have had a tremendous impact on the field of education. Teacher...
